Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku, has sent a message of warning to people who think she is “local.”
The actress who believes people want her to act and dress in a certain way to fit their expectations has shared that, anyone who wants something other then her ‘real self’ can look elsewhere.
She sent out this open message via a video which she posted on her Instagram page and stated that, if she doesn’t fit their “mannequin expectations” of a role model they can use their mothers and sisters for role model and leave her alone.
She said, if her being her own self is what people see as “local”, it only goes a long way to show how misplaced their priorities are.
She went on to warn that if anyone meets her and talk about the way she dresses, she will drag the person to filth.
