The second week of the 19th series of the “Strictly Come Dancing” reality show took place this weekend. The competition was keenly contested for but unfortunately, Nina Wadia and Neil Jones were shown the exit door.
Week 2 was a very tough one as Katie McGlynn and partner Gorka Marquez went head to head with Nina Wadia and partner Neil Jones. It was a close contest between Wadia and McGlynn as they both displayed marvellous dance skills. Nina Wadia was performing tango whiles Katie McGlynn was performing high school-based jive.
Craig Revel Horwood said both performances were great but cast his vote for Katie McGlynn. South Africa judge Motsi Mabuse also cast her vote for Katie McGlynn. Nevertheless, new judge Anton De Beke voted for Nina Wadia.
It was up to the head judge, Shirley Ballas, to cast her vote. Ballas gave her vote to McGlynn on the basis that her routine had more advanced techniques.
